Pneucons to disable UPI on orders from Oct 10 as co-founder says 0.4% MDR 'ate 94% of our margins'

Our read

Pneucons keeps UPI off past 15 October 2026, and at least one peer follows before any regulatory relief arrives.

For operators

If your B2B take rate is near 0.5%, model UPI cost by ticket band before 15 October: orders from ₹2,000 to ₹75,000 pay 0.4% MDR, while anything from ₹75,000 up is capped at ₹300, so push mid-size orders to bank transfer, NEFT/RTGS or credit terms, as Pneucons is doing by disabling UPI from 10 October.
